Mission and Outreach Dinner Brought Christians Together
Two hundred and fifty people attended the Third Annual Mission and Outreach Dinner of Cornerstone Community on Friday, October 12. Mission Representatives from the campus chapters of Habitat for Humanity and Intervarsity, Oak Hills Christian College, Timber Bay, and Heartland Christian College assisted members of Cornerstone in putting on the meal.
People from over a dozen congregations commented on the tasty food as well as the delight in fellowshiping together around the support of local missions. Since Cornerstone paid for all that went into the dinner, approximately $2500 in receipts (from the free will offering) went toward various missions in the north country.
