Tuesday Morning Prayer at City Hall
Each Tuesday Morning a mixed group of marketplace leaders and ministers meet in the Bemidji City Hall from 11:30 AM to 1 PM for prayer. Their prayers seek God's protection over this city in all of its institutions, including the City Council, the County Commission, the offices of the Bemidji City Police and County Sheriff, the social agencies, the schools, the University and resident colleges, the congregations, the businesses, and of course every soul and citizen. We proclaim Jesus Christ as Lord over Bemidji, MN. Our heart's desire to make Bemidji a place where it is difficult to go to hell.
Any Christian believer is welcome to this prayer group. One focus is our desire for a prayer location ("Prayer Tower") where at least two people are in intercessory prayer for the renewal of the north country every hour of every day (24/7). A second prayer focus is to provide a local website where Christians can find one another, hear the news, learn of the events going on in the broader community church of Bemidji. This web site would also feature columns on issues of interest to the believers of Bemidji and the north country. There could be discussion groups and places for believers to talk to each other. For special events, there might even be audio or video clips of speakers or seminars. The lens through which the news would be reported would be the truth of God as revealed in the Holy Scriptures.
