Worship at Cornerstone

Worship at Cornerstone is ordered, yet in some ways informal; reformed, yet in many ways ecumenical; centered reverently upon God and His Word, while making room for varied gifts and personal expressions.

Praise and music at Cornerstone blend traditional hymns of the church with contemporary songs and choruses. The hymns of the church testify to the historic reality of the Christian faith as it has come down to us through the centuries. The contemporary songs and choruses shows the Holy Spirit’s present and continuous ministry in the life and hearts of believers.

Our worship ministry team consists of Eric and Jennifer Berg, who lead the congregational praise, and voluntary instrumentalists, including Suzanne Thomas at the piano, Jon Butler and John Tower on the guitar, and Michael Fredrickson on the drums.

Worship begins with an informal time of gathering, for welcoming, recognition of guests, shared joys and concerns, and announcements.
